Ways of the Qilin at bd bagee — Chasing Wins on the Path of Legend
Enjoy this PG Soft slot at bd bagee on the mysterious journey of the Qilin, a creature from Chinese mythology — a new chance to win with every spin.
Qilin Legend Theme and Style
Ways of the Qilin is a video slot by PG Soft built around the Qilin, a creature from Chinese mythology. In Chinese tradition the Qilin is a symbol of good fortune and prosperity — it resembles a dragon but has its own distinct character. The game's graphics are bright and colourful: the reels are set against a backdrop of temple architecture, golden ornaments, and cherry blossoms.
The game has 6 reels and 5 rows, giving a total of 4,096 ways to win. This differs from traditional payline-based slots — there are no fixed lines to match; matching symbols on consecutive reels from left to right is enough to win. PG Soft fans will find this style familiar from other popular games like Mahjong Ways or Lucky Neko.
Symbols include the Qilin itself (highest value), the Dragon, the Phoenix, golden coins, and lower-value symbols. The Wild symbol substitutes for any other paying symbol, and the Scatter symbol unlocks the free spins.
How a Spin Works
Understanding the mechanics before you bet makes a difference. Here is a step-by-step breakdown of each spin.
Setting Your Bet
Before spinning, set your bet amount at the bottom of the screen. The game generally supports a range of bet sizes per spin from small to large, making it suitable for players with different budgets.
Setting Your BetHow Wins Are Counted
In the 4,096 ways system, a win occurs when the same symbol appears on three or more consecutive reels starting from the leftmost reel. There is no need to match symbols along a specific line as with paylines.
Ways SystemWild and Scatter Symbols
The Wild symbol substitutes for any paying symbol to complete a win. Three or more Scatter symbols landing together trigger the free spin round, where spins continue without any additional bet.
Wild ScatterFree Spin Bonus Round
During the free spin round, extra multipliers or special Wild symbols may be added, creating larger win opportunities compared to regular spins. If more Scatters land while the round is active, additional free spins are added.
Free Spins MultiplierMaximum Win Cap
Like most PG Soft slots, this game has a defined maximum win cap. Larger multipliers are available in the free spin round, and the maximum win on a single spin can reach several hundred times your bet.
Max WinAuto Spin Feature
The game includes an auto spin option where you can set the number of spins and bet amount in advance. That said, staying attentive each round is important for managing your session.

Which Type of Player This Game Is For
Ways of the Qilin is considered a medium-to-high volatility slot. Volatility describes the relationship between win frequency and win size — high volatility means smaller wins come less often, but the potential for bigger wins is higher. Low-volatility slots, by contrast, deliver smaller wins more frequently.
This game is better suited to players who can wait patiently through longer sessions and are ready for high-impact moments like the free spin round. If your budget is limited and you prefer frequent small wins, a low-volatility slot may be a better fit.
For session length, set aside a fixed budget for each session — for example ৳500 to ৳1,000 — and stick to it. You can also set a time limit, such as 30 minutes or one hour. Following the responsible gaming guidelines at bd bagee is the best way to manage your sessions.
What You Should Know Before Playing
These tips will help you enjoy the game more and avoid unnecessary losses.
-
Start in Demo Mode
You can try this slot for free in demo mode at bd bagee. Use demo mode to get familiar with the rules, symbols, and bonus features before putting in real money. -
Set Your Session Budget Beforehand
Decide on a maximum budget for each session before you start — for example ৳500 or ৳1,000. Once that amount is spent, end the session and do not add more. -
Set a Stop-Loss Limit
Say you start with ৳1,000 and lose ৳300 — you can decide to stop at that point. Setting a stop-loss limit in advance reduces the risk of betting more on impulse. -
Start with Small Bets
In high-volatility slots your balance can shift quickly. Starting with smaller bets lets you stay in the game longer while waiting for the bonus round. -
Take Breaks
Long uninterrupted sessions reduce your focus. Taking a short break every 30–45 minutes helps keep your decisions clearer.
An Example Session Budget
Say your session budget is ৳800. Betting ৳20 per spin gives you around 40 spins. If free spins trigger during that time, you get additional chances. Once the budget is gone, stop betting — come back the next day with a fresh budget.
Common Misconceptions About Slots
Many players sit down with misconceptions that end up causing financial harm. Below are the most common false beliefs and the accurate information to counter them.
"If I haven't won in a long time, the slot is due to pay out soon."
This is incorrect. Every spin is completely independent and has no connection to previous spins. The RNG (Random Number Generator) determines the outcome of each spin separately.
"Betting more increases the chance of triggering the bonus round."
Your bet size does not affect the probability of Scatter symbols landing. A larger bet only means you win more if you do win — the chance of triggering the bonus stays the same.
"You need to increase your bet to recover losses."
Placing bigger bets after a loss to try to win back what you lost is called chasing losses. It is the most dangerous habit. Previous losses have no connection to upcoming spins.
How slots actually work
Every spin is determined by the RNG and is completely random. Over the long term, RTP is a statistical average — it is not a guarantee. The outcome of any session is always uncertain.
How It Differs from Other Slots
The slots section at bd bagee offers many different types of games. Ways of the Qilin runs on a 6×5 reel and 4,096 ways structure, which provides far more active win paths than the standard 3×5 or 5×3 layout slots.
Pragmatic Play's Gates of Olympus and Sweet Bonanza use a tumble/cascade mechanic — symbols disappear after each win and new ones fall in — whereas Ways of the Qilin uses a conventional spin mechanic. Games like Hacksaw's Le Bandit or Wanted Dead or a Wild feature xWays or xNudge systems, which are entirely different.
This game offers a familiar yet rich experience within the Chinese mythology theme — while it shares the same cultural space as PG Soft's Mahjong Ways or Fortune Tiger, the reel structure and symbol set are different. To open an account at bd bagee, go to the bd bagee Login page.
